Workshop

Anyone working towards a sustainable and healthy food system can see many good initiatives — yet there’s still much work to be done. Despite all the efforts, we still consume too much sugar, fat, animal protein and salt. How can we turn the tide and truly change our behaviour?

In this workshop, we show how design can help make that possible. Using the 3G Method (Geluk – Gemak – Geld, or Happiness – Ease – Money), we uncover the factors that often influence our choices:

  • Happiness: pleasure, togetherness, tradition
  • Ease: speed, effortlessness, convenience
  • Money: affordability and perceived value

Design can open up new possibilities across all these areas — making healthier and more sustainable options more attractive than the unhealthy ones.

We will share our research, inspiring examples and practical tips to help you understand how insights into human behaviour, combined with the power of design, can increase the impact of your initiative.
