Who is this learning programme designed for?
This learning programme has been developed for designers who work or want to work in the public domain, for example at local authorities, government departments, implementing organisations or social partners. Whether you already have experience with public sector assignments or of you are just starting in this domain, the modules will help you to better understand how government works and how you can make a difference within it.
For civil servants who work or want to work with designers, the programme also offers valuable insights into how the design approach can contribute to social innovation.
What are you going to learn?
The programme consists of three modules that take you step by step into the world of public administration. You will learn how the system works, how decisionmaking works, how to bridge tensions between worlds, and how experiments can contribute to innovation within the government.
