This publication, which we will be launching during Dutch Design Week 2025, is a key part of the broader programme Coalition for Safety (formerly known as Embassy of Safety), which also includes conferences, exhibitions and talk shows. The digital edition will offer a dynamic overview of complex social safety challenges, design interventions and the people behind them. It will showcase the diversity of design — from systems design to UX, from product to social design — and the range of roles designers take on: from raising awareness and researching to proposing, testing and embedding change. Our message is clear: design is no longer a niche activity, but a vital force within the safety domain.
