From niche to scale
Circularity in fashion and textiles sounds ambitious, but real change often starts small and local. How can these initiatives grow beyond their niche into an economic system that works at scale? Digitalization can play a key role: from digital weaving studios to on-demand production in Europe. The challenge is not only to demonstrate the added value, but to make it measurable.
During this session, we explore the opportunities for smaller ecosystems to become breeding grounds for digital innovation. How can digital technologies change the way fashion and textiles are designed and produced? And what does it take to turn promising approaches into scalable processes?
Meet the speakers
During the sessions, inspiring speakers from the worlds of fashion, technology and research will share their experiences, insights and new perspectives on the future of fashion and textiles. The first speakers have already been announced: Dominic Sluiter (EnhanceThat), Jirka Rajme (Saxion University of Applied Sciences), Borre Akkersdijk (BYBORRE) and Kees Gehrels (NXP). Linda Vermaat will moderate the session.
