Because although we all know what’s healthy, we often make different choices in practice. Not out of unwillingness, but because our surroundings are constantly tempting us—from the warm cheese roll at the petrol station to the giant cookie by the till. Just like social media algorithms, shops, workplaces and schools subtly steer our eating habits. And that has consequences—for our bodies, our energy levels, and eventually the healthcare system.

Co/Lab: Hungry for Change isn’t looking for the next awareness campaign or diet trend. Instead, it aims for structural changes to the context in which food choices are made. In co-creation, the partners are developing interventions that use temptation in a positive way—so that healthy and sustainable eating becomes the natural choice.

The programme is built on a human-centred perspective, with behaviour change at its core. A design-led approach opens up space for fresh insights and new actions. The partner organisations contribute in-depth knowledge, while Barbara Vos ensures the narrative stays on course and fosters broader impact through meaningful connections. INK Social Design facilitates the creative process, offering an inspiring yet directly applicable approach. Together with the partners, they design sessions that uncover shared values and provide a clear path towards concrete action.

The results will be presented during Dutch Design Week 2025 in an interactive installation—a thought-provoking starting point for further development, both within the partner organisations and beyond.
