In Co/Lab: The Entire Ocean in a Drop, designer Jeroen Peeters teams up with the Water Embassy* to develop a method that makes this sense of connection with water tangible. How can we, particularly in housing and urban development, create experiences that breathe life back into water? How can we rekindle that sense of wonder – the feeling you get at the seaside or beside a flowing stream – in everyday life?

About Jeroen Peeters

Future of Now is a strategic design research studio that brings sustainable futures to life through experiential prototypes. Led by Jeroen Peeters, the studio makes abstract ideas tangible and immersive, helping mission-driven organisations navigate complex transformations.

“What excites me is the opportunity to apply our expertise in making futures tangible to the theme of water and the building sector. We need a cultural shift in how we relate to water in the built environment – by transforming abstract concepts into physical experiences and giving presence to the beauty of water, we hope to contribute to that change.”
Jeroen Peeters Ontwerper
“I believe this project will open up new pathways for water-positive building and putting water well-being at the heart of our approach. There’s much to repair – and we are capable of doing it. Collaborations like this one, and the many enthusiastic applications from designers, give me hope.”
