Designing for inclusive policy
Speculative thinking for successful and meaningful accessible, diverse and inclusive policy
How do you ensure that accessibility, diversity and inclusion are embedded in the way policymakers work; in the questions they ask, how they spend their time, and how they approach a dossier? How can a D&I check become as standard as a budget review or legal assessment? This small-scale design-led research explores practical perspectives for action through which these themes can become an integrated way of working within policy processes.

It highlights successful collaborations between designers and businesses, alongside stories from start-ups and established organisations that share concrete experiences, insights and lessons from practice.
